After returning to Japan in 1995, he performed with a wide range of prominent groups, including Fumio Karashima’s Quintet, The East West Alliance with trumpeter Jay Thomas and tenor saxophonist Yasuhiro Kohama, the Dairiki Hara Trio, CUG Jazz Orchestra, Makoto Ozone & No Name Horses, and Yosuke Yamashita’s Special Big Band.
